USS Delaware (BB-28) was a battleship of the US Navy. It was the lead ship of the Delaware-class battleships and was commissioned in 1910. The ship had a displacement of 20,000 tons and was armed with 10 12-inch guns, 22 5-inch guns, and several torpedo tubes.

During World War I, Delaware served as a training ship along the east coast of the United States and took part in neutrality patrols. During the interwar period, the ship underwent several refits to modernize her weapons and equipment.

In World War II, Delaware was initially stationed in the Atlantic and was later transferred to the Pacific Theater of Operations, where she saw action in the Battle of Leyte Gulf and the Battle of Okinawa. The ship was decommissioned in 1945 and was later scrapped in 1948.

USS Delaware was notable for being the first US Navy battleship to have steam turbines instead of reciprocating engines, and she was also the first US battleship to have a radio communications system.
